Jason is the Expansion Director for Australia and New Zealand and was the Global Director of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances with NEM.io Foundation based in Melbourne, Australia. NEM.io Foundation is embarking on a global expansion plan and Jason will focus on driving partnerships to increase the adoption and expansion of the NEM blockchain technology.
He is also affiliated with Next Money, Blockchain Centre and is a founding member of the FinTech Association of Malaysia. Apart from that, Jason is the co-founder Consortio, a commercialisation consulting firm, InsurTech startup PolicyStreet(which raised USD500k) and Finnext Capital, a smart city accelerator programme based out of Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
He is a deal-maker, community-builder and entrepreneur with a background in business development, client proposition, digital enablement and innovation & commercialisation consulting. He started his career with Standard Chartered Bank’s international programme having worked in front line customer-facing roles, Wealth Management, CEO’s Office, Commercial & Retail Banking with business exposure in Singapore, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur. He has been a speaker, judge, mentor, consultant and investor in startups and is familiar with working with the private and public sector including regulators and incubator & accelerator programmes. Jason’s thoughts on FinTech has been featured on Bloomberg TV Malaysia and various mainstream and online media publications.
Jason is passionate about building strategic partnerships to develop an all-win opportunity for everyone. He also speaks regularly about financial literacy and social impact in different capacities in Philippines, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, India and various parts of Malaysia. Prior to his banking career, he was a law lecturer at KDU University College and a digital marketing and leadership consultant with Social Grooves & EYE Project in Malaysia.
Jason is currently enrolled in the Emerging Leaders Development Programme with Eagles Leadership Institute and holds a Masters of International Business and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania, Australia and had attended executive programmes in strategy and management with Cambridge Judge Business School.
Anouk Pinchetti’s career has spanned three decades in the IT industries across three continents within the Government, Utilities, Corporate and Community sectors. Anouk has studied complementary and alternative currencies for twenty years and first heard about Bitcoin in 2010, and began leading workshops in the technology in 2017. Anouk is a Blockchain Technology Educator and Consultant with the Blockchain Centre in Melbourne, as well as an Educator and Business Strategy Consultant with Intraverse Blockchain Technologies.
Alastair is a PhD student at RMIT University where he is examining a public choice theory of identity and decentralised identity governance using blockchain (distributed ledger) technology. He also works at the RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub. Alastair has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, as well as two master’s degrees from the University of Melbourne. He has worked in economic research at the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA), in financial services at Ernst & Young (EY), and has also taught high school Economics.
Susan Dart has over 30 years of experience with software companies starting out as a software engineer and evolving into Executive roles . She spent 17 years in USA including working with Silicon Valley start-ups. Susan’s been involved in several IPO’s (Initial Public Offerings) of software companies and is an investor with over 10 blockchain ICO’s (Initial Coin Offerings) start-ups. Currently Susan consults with companies in assisting them with their new blockchain business models and solutions. Her Master’s Degree is from Carnegie-Mellon University USA and her Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction is from RMIT.
Chris prides himself in finding efficient solutions to complex problems. Through the use of critical thinking, leadership and creativity, Chris is able to find the best fit solution for any issue presented. Chris now finds himself invested in the Blockchain realm and educates the community of the importance of the best security practices through his involvement with Coinstop – Australia’s leading cold storage hardware wallet provider.
